Maria Sipka.. through my eyes..

So what can I tell you about Maria that you don’t already know? About how clever she is? No, you know that! About how beautiful a soul she has? No, you know that too! About how fussy she is in only drinking the best coffee? Well, I guess some of you have seen her in action.. this is the only woman I know that decides whether to enter a coffee shop by first looking through the storefront window to see what kind of coffee cups they have, how they’re stacked and what kind of machine is doing the brewing.. and that’s before she goes in.. just as you’re making yourself comfortable and expecting to place your order for that well deserved cup of java and maybe a fine pastry (if you’ve walked all over town till your feet are sore and Maria decides she’ll have a piece of yours too.. that is..).. Maria spots that they’re not using “fresh milk”!!

That’s right.. they don’t have a cow in the back room with a hose coming from one of it’s udders (yeah.. those 4 things hanging down from the back end).. so it’s “outta hear” as if you don’t keep up with her you’ll never see her again until you reach home..

Now obviously I’m taking a “ribbing” to my beautiful miss.. and as she has her profile plastered all over the internet, her pictures all over “Flickr”, as the “hostess with the mostest” of every Food Lovers Thursday from sea to shining sea, everyone has gotten to know all about this most brightest diamond amungst shiny diamonds.. so I guess the only “unplugged” story I can tell about Maria is what allot of people may not know outside of her very intimate circle..

just about 2 months after I first met Maria.. and about the 3rd time that she told me she wasn’t looking to be in relationship and we should just be friends.. she presented me with “The List”! Probably figured if that didn’t scare me off, I might just be worth investigating further Now I wouldn’t consider Maria “anal” (can I use that word here?).. she’s just a woman who knows what she wants in life.. and that’s GREAT.. if only we all lived.. so sure of not wanting to “waste our precious time”.. so anyhow.. she presents me with this list.. like.. “so.. you really think you want to try and date me.. you better think twice buddy cause I’m pretty demanding”.. and here it is.. the famous list..

Now don’t let that startle you.. the best part is that when you’ve finally mustered up the courage to take on the challenge.. the list just seems to keep growing every day!!!!!

Now why would I publicize this “list” of my beloved? Because of the respect and admiration that I have for such a wonderful woman that not only knows what she wants to contribute to the world, but what she wants for herself as well!

It’s been a fascinating journey which I’m personally looking forward to for a lifetime.. I love her for all of the qualities she has, as much as I love her for all of the qualities that I have yet to discover!

Constantly learning, she’s a model for any man that wants to live a true challenge! I didn’t know what was about to come my way when I stepped into her path, but I’ll tell you with all honestly that I’ve treasured every step of the journey beside her..

And that’s my unplugged story about the “one and only light of my life and beat of my heart”!
